Zhwandoon Welfare Organization, a well-established NGO based in Peshawar, is seeking to hire compassionate and qualified professionals for the roles of Lady Health Visitor (LHV), Nurse, and Health Visitor. These positions are aimed at improving the health and well-being of the community, particularly women and children. Responsibilities:
Lady Health Visitor (LHV):
- Provide basic healthcare services to women and children in the community.
- Conduct health education sessions for women on topics such as maternal health, child nutrition, and sanitation.
- Monitor the health status of mothers and children, providing necessary interventions or referrals.
- Assist in vaccination drives and other public health initiatives.
- Maintain accurate health records and report on health data.
Nurse:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in healthcare centers or community outreach settings.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or improvements.
- Educate patients and families on preventive healthcare and treatments.
- Assist in medical procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Record vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and support doctors in their duties.
Health Visitor:
- Conduct regular home visits to assess the health needs of individuals and families.
- Provide health counseling to individuals regarding nutrition, sanitation, and overall well-being.
- Coordinate with community health workers and other professionals for public health campaigns.
- Provide maternal and child health services and advice.
Qualifications:
- Lady Health Visitor (LHV):
- Intermediate qualification in relevant field or Diploma in Nursing (DAE).
- Previous experience in community health programs is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in local languages and a strong commitment to healthcare.
- Nurse:
- Intermediate qualification with a Nursing Diploma or DAE in Nursing.
- Previous experience in hospital or community healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide patient care effectively.
- Health Visitor:
- Intermediate qualification or DAE in relevant health fields.
- Experience working in community-based health programs will be an advantage.
