The Employees Social Security Institution (ESSI), Peshawar, is seeking qualified professionals for the positions of Medical Officer, Microbiologist, and Lab Technician. Responsibilities:
Medical Officer:
- Provide medical care and treatment to employees and their families.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans.

Microbiologist:
- Conduct microbiological tests on patient samples (blood, urine, etc.).

- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment.
- Ensure proper laboratory practices and procedures are followed.
- Assist in the development of health and safety protocols in the medical facility.
Lab Technician:
- Assist in collecting and processing specimens for laboratory testing.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work, urine analysis, etc.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and ensure equipment is operational.
- Record and report test results to medical officers or doctors.
- Ensure that all laboratory tests are conducted according to health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Medical Officer:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification in medicine.
- License to practice medicine in Pakistan is required.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Microbiologist:
- A Master’s degree in Microbiology or relevant field.
- Previous experience in microbiological testing and laboratory management is an advantage.
- Lab Technician:
- Diploma or BS in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
- Previous experience working in a medical laboratory is preferred.
