SOS Children Village of Pakistan, a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting orphaned and abandoned children, is looking for qualified and compassionate Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists to join their team in Peshawar. Key Responsibilities
For Psychologist:
- Provide psychological assessments and counseling to children and staff.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Offer emotional and behavioral support to children facing psychological challenges.
- Conduct workshops and awareness sessions on mental health and well-being.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall care plan for children.
For Clinical Psychologist:
- Conduct in-depth psychological evaluations for children with complex mental health needs.
- Diagnose mental health disorders and recommend treatment interventions.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for children and families.
- Work closely with educators and social workers to develop holistic care strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of psychological evaluations and treatments.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology (M.A. / M.Sc. or BS in Psychology). Additional certifications or training in Clinical Psychology will be an advantage (discuss during the interview).
- Experience: Relevant experience in psychological counseling or clinical psychology is preferred (discuss during the interview).
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with children and vulnerable populations.
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and therapy techniques.
