Job Introduction:
Lady Reading Hospital (LRH), Peshawar, is seeking a qualified and experienced Internal Auditor to join its team. This role is part of the Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) and involves ensuring the hospital’s financial and operational processes adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular internal audits of the hospital’s financial and operational processes.
- Evaluate the efficiency of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings and suggesting corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to assess risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
- ACCA, CA, CMA, ACMA, FCMA, or related qualification.
- Previous experience in internal auditing, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry (discuss during the interview).
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and audit standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
