Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for key leadership roles in the company. The positions available include Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Supply Chain Management Officer, and Chief Information Technology Systems. These positions are critical to the continued success and development of MEPCO, and the ideal candidates will possess specialized knowledge in their respective fields.
Responsibilities:
Chief Internal Auditor:
- Oversee internal audits to assess the effectiveness of MEPCO’s internal control system.
- Review financial records, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Prepare audit reports and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
Chief Legal Officer:
- Provide legal advice and support to MEPCO on corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and litigation matters.
- Represent MEPCO in legal proceedings and manage external legal counsel.
- Ensure that MEPCO operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents on behalf of MEPCO.
Chief Supply Chain Management Officer:
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and inventory management functions.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
Chief Information Technology Systems:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of MEPCO’s IT infrastructure.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and manage data protection efforts.
- Lead IT teams to deliver solutions that support operational and strategic objectives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend system upgrades to improve organizational performance.
Qualifications:
- Chief Internal Auditor: MBA, MS in Finance, ACCA, or CA.
- Chief Legal Officer: LLB, LLM (Master of Laws), or other relevant legal qualifications.
- Chief Supply Chain Management Officer: MBA, MS in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Chief Information Technology Systems: MS in Information Technology, MBA (IT), or related field.
- Professional experience in a similar leadership role within a large organization.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and other departments.
