The available positions include Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Information Technology Systems, Chief Supply Chain Management Officer, and Chief Legal Officer. Responsibilities:
Chief Internal Auditor:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate MEPCO’s financial and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work closely with management to address any audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Chief Information Technology Systems:
- Oversee the management and enhancement of MEPCO’s IT infrastructure.
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support organizational goals and efficiency.
- Ensure the security and functionality of all IT systems, including data protection and disaster recovery.
- Lead the IT department in delivering solutions that streamline operations and support business objectives.
Chief Supply Chain Management Officer:
- Manage the procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations of MEPCO.
- Develop strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Oversee the sourcing of materials, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Work with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Chief Legal Officer:
- Provide legal guidance on corporate governance, compliance, contracts, and litigation.
- Represent MEPCO in legal matters and ensure all operations comply with applicable laws.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Advise the senior management on legal risks and mitigate potential legal issues.
Qualifications:
- Chief Internal Auditor: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA, CA, or similar certifications preferred.
- Chief Information Technology Systems: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; certifications in IT management are a plus.
- Chief Supply Chain Management Officer: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Chief Legal Officer: LLB, LLM (Master of Laws) or equivalent law degree; strong understanding of corporate and commercial law.
