The Finance Department of Punjab is seeking qualified candidates for several critical roles within the Punjab Pension Fund. Available Positions and Responsibilities

1. Chief Accounting Officer

  • Oversee the financial accounting and reporting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Provide strategic guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure the integrity of financial data.

2. Compliance Officer

  • Monitor compliance with financial regulations, policies, and standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure the Fund’s operations comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise senior management on regulatory changes and compliance risks.
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks and policies for risk mitigation.

3. Risk Manager

  • Identify and assess financial and operational risks within the Fund.
  • Develop risk management strategies to minimize exposure.
  • Regularly review and update risk management policies and procedures.
  • Prepare risk reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that risk management practices align with industry standards and regulations.

4. Research Analyst

  • Conduct research and analysis on pension fund performance, market trends, and economic indicators.
  • Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings.
  • Assist in the development of investment strategies and portfolio management.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
    • ACCA, CA, or other relevant professional certifications are preferred for accounting and compliance roles.
    • Additional qualifications in risk management or research analysis are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, compliance, or risk management.
    • Proven track record of handling complex financial matters or managing pension funds.
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong proficiency in financial software and tools.
    • Effective communication skills to interact with senior management and stakeholders.
