Key Responsibilities
- GM Finance:
- Oversee financial management and budgeting processes for the organization.

- Chief Operating Officer (COO):
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the authority.

- Member Agriculture:
- Provide expert advice on agricultural policies and programs.

- Member Research & Training:
- Lead research initiatives to support the organization’s goals.
- Develop training programs for staff and stakeholders in relevant fields.
- Collaborate with academic institutions and research organizations.
- Member Pharmaceuticals:
- Oversee pharmaceutical regulatory affairs within the authority.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to food and drug safety.
- Develop policies for the safe use and regulation of pharmaceuticals.
- GM HR & Administration:
- Manage human resources functions, including staffing, payroll, and benefits.
- Oversee administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop HR policies and employee relations strategies.
- GM Legal:
- Provide legal counsel on a range of issues including policies, regulations, and contracts.
- Ensure the organization complies with all applicable laws.
- Represent the organization in legal matters and negotiations.
- Member Food:
- Develop and implement policies regarding food safety and quality.
- Oversee food testing and certification processes.
- Provide expert guidance on food regulations and compliance.
Qualifications
- Education:
- For most positions, candidates with Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or LLM in relevant fields will be preferred.
- For specific positions such as GM Legal, an LLM or law-related qualification is required.
- For Member Agriculture and other technical roles, a background in Agriculture or related fields is essential.
- Experience:
- Significant experience in leadership roles, particularly in government or regulatory bodies.
- Relevant sector experience such as finance, agriculture, food safety, pharmaceuticals, or research is preferred.
