Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Driving Vehicles: Safely operating HTVs, LTVs, and other vehicles assigned to them for official purposes.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle, including regular checks of fuel, oil, and tire pressure.
- Timely Delivery: Transporting goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations as per the assigned schedule.
- Route Planning: Planning and following the most efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals while considering traffic conditions and safety.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining a log of trips, fuel usage, and any incidents during travel.
- Safety Standards: Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to minimize risk while driving.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Minimum Matric (Secondary School Certificate).
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a driver, with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving HTV, LTV, and light vehicles is preferred.
- Licenses:
- A valid HTV/LTV driving license is required.
- Familiarity with road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Skills:
- Strong driving skills and a responsible attitude toward safety.
- Ability to navigate and follow routes efficiently.
