Customer Support Specialist at Bizmatic Technologies

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing expert technical support for our Point of Sale (POS) system and Human Resource Management System (HRMS). The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a deep understanding of software and hardware systems, and the ability to resolve issues promptly while delivering excellent customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat, assisting with issues related to POS systems, HRMS, and related hardware peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve both hardware and software issues, offering step-by-step solutions to customers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address the underlying causes of technical issues.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and issue resolution for hardware peripherals like thermal printers, computers, and other devices.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network settings (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve more complex technical issues and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical issues resolved.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11).
  • Strong understanding of software applications, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Experience with POS systems and HRMS software is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice to Have:

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk software and ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies.
