Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC), a government-owned organization, is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to serve as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will play a critical role in the leadership and strategic direction of the company, overseeing initiatives that aim to upgrade technology and enhance skill development across various industries in Pakistan. This is a high-level executive position based in Lahore, Punjab.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operations of TUSDEC, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute strategies to promote technology upgradation and skills development initiatives in line with national priorities.
- Foster partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector, and international organizations.
- Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation to maximize organizational impact.
- Ensure effective implementation of projects, programs, and policies aimed at improving industrial technology and workforce capabilities.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the board of directors and relevant authorities.
- Build and maintain a strong organizational culture, ensuring high levels of performance, accountability, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: A Master’s degree (MBA, BBA, or similar) in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience:
- Proven experience of at least 10-15 years in executive management roles, particularly in public sector organizations or companies focused on technology, industrial development, or skill training.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
- Extensive experience in managing large teams, implementing organizational reforms, and driving high-impact projects.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive results in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong understanding of the latest trends in technology, skill development, and industrial upgradation.
