Procurement Manager

FixDar is looking for an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the purchasing operations of our company. This role is pivotal in sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring materials, equipment, and services needed for our business operations. The successful candidate will ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery, contributing significantly to the overall operational excellence of FixDar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals and operational needs.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and build long-term relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with internal teams to manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and ensure timely procurement of materials.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured goods and services meet FixDar’s quality and compliance standards.
  • Cost Optimization: Analyze procurement costs and identify strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions and market volatility.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness.
  • Reporting: Prepare procurement reports, including cost analysis and supplier performance evaluations, and present them to management.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related roles, particularly in maintenance, construction, or service industries.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific materials and services, local and international procurement practices, and regulatory compliance.
