In this role, you will contribute to the development of software plugins for PowerSchool, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize high-quality solutions. Responsibilities
- Develop & Design: Create, test, and implement software plugins for PowerSchool using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and Oracle, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code.
- Maintain & Improve: Resolve bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems in existing plugins.
- Optimize: Conduct code reviews and optimize the functionality, performance, and security of plugins.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest PowerSchool features and industry trends to continuously enhance user experience.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for plugin development processes, including specifications and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on frontend development.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with libraries like jQuery.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with the Angular framework is a plus.
- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server.
- Location: Karachi, Pakistan (In-Person)
- Work Timings: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
