Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished video content suitable for various platforms such as social media, websites, and corporate presentations.
- Work with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality video content on time.
- Use video editing software like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other tools to enhance video content.
- Ensure proper color grading, sound editing, and visual effects are applied.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to make necessary revisions to videos.
- Maintain a consistent style, brand guidelines, and message throughout all video projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing and technology.
- Organize and manage video files, ensuring proper storage and backups of all footage.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or any related field.
- Intermediate or BA in relevant disciplines will also be considered.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in video editing or multimedia production is preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing work (preferably in similar industries or fields).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing tools.
- Understanding of video compression, file formats, and resolution standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project guidelines.
