Job Introduction
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is seeking qualified candidates to fill multiple managerial positions in Islamabad. These positions are temporary, and the successful applicants will play key roles in the planning, development, and execution of disaster management and infrastructure projects. Available positions include Manager Infrastructure, Deputy Manager Project Development, Deputy Manager Infrastructure, and Manager Project Development.

Key Responsibilities
- Manager Infrastructure:
- Lead the development and implementation of infrastructure projects aimed at improving disaster resilience.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with national disaster management frameworks.
- Prepare detailed project reports and budgets.
- Manager Project Development:
- Oversee all phases of project development, from planning to execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure projects are executed effectively and on time.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including proposals, budgets, and progress reports.
- Manage resources, schedules, and project timelines.
- Deputy Manager Infrastructure:
- Assist in the planning, design, and management of infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical and managerial support to ensure projects align with disaster management objectives.
- Support the senior manager in project monitoring, risk management, and reporting.
- Deputy Manager Project Development:
- Support the manager in overseeing the development of disaster management projects.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and manage day-to-day project operations.
- Track project milestones and assist with project planning and coordination.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Disaster Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Disaster Risk Management or Project Management are a plus.
- Experience:
- For Manager positions: Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure development or project management.
- For Deputy Manager positions: Minimum 3 years of experience in related fields, with a focus on disaster management, infrastructure development, or project management.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to coordinate teams and manage complex projects effectively.
- Knowledge of disaster management protocols and resilience strategies.
