Responsibilities
- Trade & Investment Analysis:
- Analyze global trade and investment trends to identify opportunities for Pakistan.
- Develop strategies to attract foreign investment and enhance trade relations.
- Policy Development:
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of trade policies and regulations.
- Provide recommendations to the government on trade-related matters.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with local and international trade bodies, business leaders, and government officials.
- Represent the Ministry in trade negotiations and meetings.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare reports on trade activities and investment initiatives.
- Monitor progress and ensure the timely execution of trade projects.
- Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential markets for Pakistan’s exports.
- Evaluate the economic environment in key trade partner countries.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in trade, investment, or business administration would be a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to assess trade trends and investment opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other business software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in trade, investment, or international business relations is desirable but not mandatory.
