Technical Specialist at Prime Minister’s Office, Board of Investment

The Prime Minister’s Office, Board of Investment is looking for qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Technical Specialist. This is a full-time government position based in Islamabad, where the selected candidate will contribute to the strategic and operational initiatives of the Board of Investment. Responsibilities

  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage key projects in alignment with the objectives of the Board of Investment.
    • Develop and execute plans to enhance the effectiveness of investments and business operations within Pakistan.
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical expertise to resolve complex challenges faced by the Board of Investment.
    • Collaborate with other government entities and departments to implement investment-focused initiatives.
  • Policy Development:
    • Assist in formulating policies that attract investment and contribute to economic development.
    • Conduct technical research and analysis to support policy recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with senior management and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Monitor project progress and provide reports to senior officials.
  • Capacity Building:
    • Provide training and guidance to team members on technical aspects of investment projects.
    • Facilitate workshops and seminars to disseminate best practices in investment management.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Master’s Degree or B.S. in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics, Management, or related disciplines).
    • Relevant Certifications in project management or technical fields are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field, particularly in managing investment-related projects or technical operations.
    • Experience working with government institutions or large organizations is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge in investment management, business strategies, and policy development.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide data-driven solutions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
