The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) is inviting applications for the roles of Specialist IT and E-Procurement Specialist. These positions are designed to strengthen the digital infrastructure and enhance procurement systems within PPRA. Available Positions & Responsibilities:
- Specialist IT
- Develop and implement IT solutions that improve the procurement systems.
- Oversee the technical infrastructure, ensuring it meets the organization’s needs.
- Provide technical support and ensure the security of the organization’s data and systems.
- Work with the procurement team to digitize and automate processes for efficiency.
- Monitor and upgrade IT systems to maintain high operational standards.
- E-Procurement Specialist
- Lead the development and implementation of electronic procurement systems.
- Ensure the digital procurement platform is secure, user-friendly, and efficient.
- Analyze and improve the e-procurement processes and workflows.
- Conduct training for internal users on the e-procurement system.
- Manage system integration and ensure smooth operation of procurement software tools.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Procurement, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degrees in relevant fields will also be considered, with preference given to those with technical expertise (BCS, MCS, MIT, etc.).
- Additional qualifications in E-Procurement or Procurement Systems are an advantage.
- Experience:
- Strong experience in IT management or e-procurement systems, particularly in governmental or regulatory contexts.
- Proven ability to implement and manage IT solutions in large organizations, especially those related to procurement.
- Expertise in the use of digital tools to enhance procurement operations.
