Job Introduction:
Quran Academy in Islamabad is seeking qualified Qari and Qaria to join its team. This is a full-time position for dedicated individuals passionate about teaching and reciting the Quran. As a Qari or Qaria, you will play a key role in educating students, fostering spiritual development, and ensuring the correct pronunciation and recitation of the Quran. The academy is looking for candidates who have an Intermediate education and experience in teaching or reciting the Quran.
Responsibilities:
- Recitation of the Quran with proper Tajweed and pronunciation for students.
- Teaching Quranic lessons to students of different age groups, ensuring correct understanding and recitation.
- Assisting students in memorizing the Quran or learning its translation and Tafsir.
- Conducting Quran classes and ensuring students are engaged and progressing.
- Providing individual guidance to students who need additional support in their recitation.
- Promoting Islamic teachings and values through Quranic studies.
- Monitoring and assessing the progress of students and reporting to the academy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Intermediate or equivalent, with a deep understanding of Quranic recitation (Tajweed).
- Previous experience as a Qari or Qaria is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Quranic recitation with proper Tajweed.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to work with children and adults in an educational environment.
- Knowledge of Quranic Tafsir and Islamic studies is a plus.
- Fluency in Urdu and/or Arabic is beneficial.
