Responsibilities

Teacher

• Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
• Evaluate and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
• Manage classroom behavior and enforce discipline in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in school meetings and events as required.

Qari / Quran Teacher / Qaria

• Teach and recite the Quran with proper Tajweed and pronunciation.
• Provide instruction to students on Quranic studies, including memorization and Tafseer.
• Prepare lesson plans for Quranic teachings and conduct assessments.
• Foster a love and respect for the Quran among students.
• Maintain student attendance and records of Quranic lessons.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements:
  • Teacher: BA, Bachelor’s degree in Education, or related field.
  • Qari / Quran Teacher / Qaria: Intermediate, BA, or relevant Quranic studies qualification.
• Experience:
  • Prior teaching experience is an advantage, but not required.
  • A strong understanding of Quranic studies for the Qari, Quran Teacher, and Qaria roles.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
  • Patience and strong interpersonal skills for teaching diverse groups of students.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
