Job Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and consultation on mineral development and resource management projects.
- Develop, review, and optimize strategies for sustainable mining practices.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and proposals for new projects.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify growth opportunities in the mineral sector.
- Collaborate with government bodies, private stakeholders, and international partners to enhance project outcomes.
- Monitor compliance with environmental and safety standards in mining operations.
- Assist in capacity building and knowledge transfer to the organization’s internal teams.
Qualifications
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MS degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- At least 5–7 years of experience in consultancy or relevant roles in the mining or mineral development sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management and the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with national and international mining regulations and best practices.
