Job Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee boxing talent hunts and training sessions for women in coordination with the Youth Sports League.
- Develop and execute programs aimed at identifying and nurturing boxing talent among youth.
- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality training programs.
- Monitor the progress of participants and provide regular reports to the program management team.
- Promote inclusivity and ensure a safe environment for all participants during training and events.
- Assist in managing logistics, including scheduling events, procuring equipment, and coordinating with vendors.
- Represent the HEC in related events and workshops to promote the initiative.
Qualifications
- Educational requirements: Matric, Intermediate, or Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Physical Education, Sports Sciences, or a related field).
- Demonstrated passion for sports, particularly boxing, with relevant experience in sports management or coaching preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage events and engage with diverse groups effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently manage tasks under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software for preparing reports and presentations.
(Additional qualifications or certifications in boxing coaching, first aid, or youth development will be a plus.)
