Assistant Advisor & Advisor (Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat, Islamabad)

The Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat in Islamabad is inviting applications for the positions of Assistant Advisor Accounts, Assistant Advisor, and Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified individuals to work in the government sector, contributing to the management and administration of tax-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistant Advisor Accounts:
    • Assist in managing financial accounts, tax records, and audits.
    • Support senior advisors in financial analysis and reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and guidelines.
    • Maintain and update financial databases and assist in budgeting processes.
  • Assistant Advisor:
    • Assist in policy formulation and implementation related to tax matters.
    • Support senior advisors in handling public complaints and ensuring the resolution of grievances.
    • Conduct research and provide administrative support on tax-related issues.
  • Advisor:
    • Provide expert advice on tax-related matters, policy formulation, and strategic planning.
    • Lead teams in investigating tax complaints and ensuring fair resolutions.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve tax administration and management.
    • Coordinate with government officials and other stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of tax-related operations.

Qualifications:

  • Assistant Advisor Accounts/Assistant Advisor:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
    • Experience in the management of financial accounts or tax-related matters is preferred.
  • Advisor:
    • Master’s degree in a relevant field (Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, etc.).
    • Significant experience in tax policy, management, and dispute resolution.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
