Responsibilities

Rescue Driver LTV:

• Operate emergency vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and transport victims to the hospital.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained, cleaned, and ready for emergencies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while driving in emergencies.

Computer Programmer:

• Develop and maintain software solutions to support Rescue 1122’s operations.
• Create databases and ensure that systems are functional and secure.
• Work with IT teams to integrate and improve software systems.
• Provide technical support for software and hardware issues.

Maintenance Technician:

• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs of Rescue 1122 vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ensure that all equipment is in working order for emergency response.
• Coordinate with management to schedule preventive maintenance.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):

• Provide immediate medical care to accident victims and emergency patients.
• Administer first aid and life-saving procedures during transport.
• Record vital signs and other medical data during patient care.
• Work with hospital staff to ensure smooth transfer of patients.

Enforcement Officer:

• Monitor and enforce traffic laws, particularly around emergency scenes.
• Ensure public safety and crowd control during emergency operations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Maintain order and assist in managing emergency response sites.

Deputy Director Monitoring Enforcement:

• Oversee the monitoring of enforcement activities within Rescue 1122 operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, traffic laws, and operational standards.
• Manage and supervise enforcement officers and other staff members.
• Report on enforcement performance and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

• Rescue Driver LTV:
  • Education: Matric or equivalent
  • Experience: Valid LTV driving license with experience in driving emergency vehicles.
• Computer Programmer:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIT, MCS, or equivalent
  • Experience: Experience in software development, programming languages, and database management is preferred.
• Maintenance Technician:
  • Education: DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in relevant fields.
  • Experience: Previous experience in maintaining vehicles and technical equipment is preferred.
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):
  • Education: Matric or Intermediate, with EMT certification or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Experience: Prior experience in emergency medical services is desirable.
• Enforcement Officer:
  • Education: Intermediate or Matric.
  • Experience: Experience in law enforcement or emergency services is preferred.
• Deputy Director Monitoring Enforcement:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Experience: Previous supervisory or managerial experience in emergency services or related fields.
