Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Invoicing and Billing: Prepare invoices, monitor payments, and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Taxation: Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to help guide decision-making.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
- Audit Assistance: Provide necessary information and documentation during audits, ensuring that financial records are prepared for auditing purposes.
- Cost Control: Monitor expenses and suggest strategies for cost-cutting or efficiency improvements in financial operations.
Qualifications
- Education:
- M.Com, MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Additional certifications in accounting (such as ACCA, CA Inter) are an advantage.
- Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the export or manufacturing sector.
- Skills:
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
