SOS Children Village of Pakistan is seeking a qualified and experienced Director for its Karachi branch. As a Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the village, managing resources, ensuring the well-being of the children under the village’s care, and leading the development of programs that promote growth, education, and security for the children. This role requires a highly organized, compassionate, and strategic leader committed to making a positive impact in the community.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations and management of SOS Children Village Karachi.
- Lead, manage, and support the staff, ensuring they deliver quality care and services to the children.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the welfare, education, and well-being of children in the village.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the budgeting and financial resources of the village.
- Organize and oversee community outreach programs to support the organization’s mission.
- Regularly report to senior management and provide updates on the village’s activities and performance.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Management, or any related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in executive leadership, particularly in the social sector or child welfare.
- Strong organizational and management skills with experience in overseeing large teams and resources.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for child welfare and community development.
- Preferred: Previous experience working in a non-profit or children’s organization.
