Responsibilities
- Chief Legal Officer:
- Lead the legal department, managing all corporate legal affairs and regulatory compliance.
- Provide legal advice on contracts, business transactions, and disputes.
- Oversee legal risk management and ensure adherence to relevant laws.
- Represent MEPCO in legal matters, including court proceedings, if needed.
- Develop and implement legal strategies that align with company goals.
- Chief Internal Auditor:
- Plan, conduct, and supervise internal audits to assess the efficiency of financial and operational systems.
- Monitor and evaluate internal controls and risk management procedures.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with recommendations for improvements.
- Advise management on corrective actions and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely reporting.
- Chief Supply Chain Management Officer:
- Oversee the supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and delivery timelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Lead supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Chief Information Technology Systems:
- Oversee IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the security and efficiency of IT operations.
- Manage IT teams and collaborate with other departments to improve system integration.
- Ensure compliance with IT regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- For Chief Legal Officer:
- A Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in corporate law, preferably within government or energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of legal regulations, compliance, and contract law.
- For Chief Internal Auditor:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as ACCA, CIA, or CPA.
- Proven experience in auditing, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- For Chief Supply Chain Management Officer:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale supply chains, especially in the public or energy sector.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- For Chief Information Technology Systems:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management and systems integration.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
